Materials and construction: Nordic spruce post-and-beam structure with 28 mm walls, toughened double glazing and substantial tongue-and-groove roof boards.

Keep gutters and roof surfaces clear, maintain ventilation beneath the floor and avoid prolonged contact with standing water. Inspect the structure twice a year for movement, loose fixings, seal deterioration or damaged finishes. Clean with a soft brush and mild detergent, then refresh the protective coating whenever water no longer beads on the surface.
